Hello! My name is Nancy Cameron and I am the Youth Intern Coordinator this summer, working out of the Port Hood Resource Centre and C@P site. I am 23 years old and graduated from St. Mary’s University in 2011 with my bachelors degree with a major in English and minor in History. I took the year off school after graduation and worked here at the C@P site since then. I plan to return to school in September for Survey Technician in Lawrencetown.

This past year I have been lucky enough to have volunteered with the Dalbrae Dragons girl’s basketball team in Mabou as an assistant coach. Although I was busy, basketball has been a huge part of my life and I was glad to have the opportunity to get involved helping young girls keep active, while enjoying the game. Other than basketball, my interests include running, biking, hiking, reading and swimming.

I am looking forward to spending the summer as the Youth Intern Coordinator and really excited for the cyber camps that the youth interns will be putting on in each community. I hope the camps will be a huge success, with both the kids and the interns.
