Effie Parsons – Mabou C@P
My name is Effie Parsons. I am from Port aux Basques, Newfoundland but I am living in Cape Breton for the summer and will be working at the Mabou C@P site. I go to Sir Wilfred Grenfell College in Corner Brook, Newfoundland where I am going to start studying Theatre in the Fall. I will be working on a project this summer which involves creating a grave yard database.

Rachael MacLellan is working this summer at the Judique C@P site. She is originally from Brampton, Ontario and moved to Cape Breton with her family 2 years ago. She is majoring in English and taking a minor in Irish Studies at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax. She ran the C@P site last summer as well, and is grateful to have the opportunity to run it again this summer.

My name is Bhreagh Sheppard and I live in Troy just outside Port Hawkesbury. I’m a current Graduate from St. Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Arts and then in September I’m heading to Maine to do my Bachelor of Education. I’m working this summer at the Port Hawkesbury C@P site in the Library doing senior tutorials on the computers and working with patrons that need help with the audio books etc. I’m sure I will be seeing all of you at some point this summer. My name is Briana Covey. I’m from South West Margaree and I am working, for the second summer in a row, at the Scotsville C@P. My summer project last year was creating a digital scrapbook of the events and workshops held at the Scotsville School of Crafts, as well as items from the gift shop. This summer I will be again working with photography in hopes of creating a digital photo-book with biographies of the items found in the School of Crafts.
