Hello, my name is Vincent Steward Hines and I grew up and currently live in the village of Meat Cove. While Meat Cove doesn’t have a lot of opportunities I can always count on a job in the summer at the local C@P Site. I am 18 years of age, and I will be turning 19 on July 30th. For the previous year I have been going to CBU and next year I plan on taking up a BBA Program, with a major in accounting. This was my fifth year working with C@P and it has been an awesome past five years. When I first began working for C@P five summers ago I wasn’t no where as familiar with computers as I am now. Meat Cove C@P Site Damaged in Flood

Meat Cove suffered from a flash flood in late August. Residents were left devastated by the damage. Community members seen years of work in enhancing their community wiped out in hours. The Meat Cove Welcome Center, which houses a C@P site, has been closed to the public until necessary repairs can be made.
