Cartography-Making Your Maps Both Beautiful and Effective

Paul DeGrace, from Simon Fraser University, gave a very interesting presentation on cartography and commented how many GIS technicians and specialists have not taken any cartography courses, but it would be advisable for them to do so. Mr. DeGrace's presented the 5 Steps to Effective Mapping and these steps can be applied to any graphical design including web design.
