Cartography-Making Your Maps Both Beautiful and Effective

Paul DeGrace, from Simon Fraser University, gave a very interesting presentation on cartography and commented how many GIS technicians and specialists have not taken any cartography courses, but it would be advisable for them to do so.

Mr. DeGrace’s presented the 5 Steps to Effective Mapping and these steps can be applied to any graphical design including web design.

I would like to share with you an example of what I think is a great way to use YouTube to promote your business…the number two search engine is YouTube (number one being Google). So if you want to make a presence on the web and get noticed, you should be looking at YouTube.
